What ages is Dilly for?

Dilly is for students in kindergarten through grade 12. At first, the lessons are written at a kindergarten to grade 8 reading level. Lessons for teens are planned.

Is there AI in Dilly?

No. There is no AI in Dilly. Everything your child sees was written in advance, and nothing your child types is sent to an AI service. Your companion is a character in the app, and its words were written by the Dilly team. Your child taps prepared choices instead of typing. Missions have some writing steps.

Do kids chat with AI in Dilly?

There is no AI in Dilly. Everything your child sees was written in advance, and nothing your child types is sent to an AI service.

Your child learns how AI works by teaching a companion and testing what it learned.

Are there ads?

No. There are no ads in the app.

What is the battery?

Teaching uses a little battery each time your child sends a choice. Free has 20 battery in total, and it never recharges. Starter has 20 battery that recharges every two weeks, and Core has 30 battery each week. They recharge on Monday at 8 AM in your family's saved time zone, and leftover battery does not add up. Plus has unlimited battery. Plus never runs out of battery, so it never needs a recharge. Starter and Plus are coming soon and are not available yet.

Which plans will there be?

Dilly is not on the App Store yet, so no plan can be bought yet. When Dilly opens, there is Free and Core. Starter at $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year, and Plus at $19.99 a month or $169.99 a year, are coming soon. They are not available yet.

Can I change or cancel?

Yes. When you have a plan, you can change or cancel it any time in Manage plan, after the phone check. You can switch between monthly and yearly there. A move to a smaller plan starts when the period ends.

Who does a plan cover?

Each child has their own plan. Another child needs a plan of their own.

What if the plan ends?

What your companion has already learned stays open to practice. Coins, creations and streaks are always kept.

Does my child need my yes?

Children under 13 can only use Dilly after a parent or guardian says yes.

Who pays?

A grown-up. Your child never sees a price. The button on a locked skill says Ask a grown-up, and it opens a phone check first.

Can I see what my child did?

Yes. The learning report shows what they did in the app, such as what they finished and made and what the companion has learned. See the parents page.
