Every skill you teach becomes a piece. Pieces snap together to build things.

The child is the teacher.

A new companion starts out able to do nothing yet. Everything it can do is something your child taught it.

    Pick a companion

Six friends to choose from. Each one is a learner, not a know-it-all. It waits for your child to show it how.

  • Pip tilting his head, curious

    Train it by teaching it

As your child trains it, they make the choices that shape how the companion acts. Everything it learns becomes a new puzzle piece and a new ability.

  • Pip in a tool belt, holding a wrench

    Build with what it learned

In the Workshop, pieces fit together to make something. The companion can only use the pieces your child earned.

  • Pip with one finger up, having an idea

Learn how AI works by making it

Your child sees why an AI gives a bad answer, then fixes it. They learn to question it, test it and guide it.

Kids Should Learn About AI, Not Just Chat With It.

At Dilly, we believe children should learn how to communicate with AI effectively, safely, and responsibly, without being exposed to unrestricted AI chatbots.

That's why Dilly uses carefully designed, age-appropriate lessons that teach children how to interact with AI without actually chatting with it. Through fun, interactive activities, kids learn how to ask better questions, give clear instructions, evaluate AI responses, and recognize when AI gets things wrong.

Our mission is simple: Teach children how to use AI, not just rely on it.

Six companions to choose from.

Each one has its own look, and the same job: to learn from your child.

Press a companion to see it in a new pose.

Teach it. Watch it learn. Build with it.

This is the story every time your child teaches their companion something new.

  1. Pick something to teach

The companion wants to learn something new. Your child chooses what to work on.

  2. Teach it with choices

Your child taps prepared choices, sees what happens and fixes what went wrong. There is no typing.

  3. Build with what it learned

What it learns becomes a puzzle piece. Pieces fit together in the Workshop to make something.

How training your companion works

What your child learns, and how you stay in charge.

Your child learns how AI works by making it. There is no AI in Dilly.

  • There is no AI in Dilly, and nothing is sent to an AI service
  • Plans and the report sit behind a phone check
  • A learning report for grown-ups

A Safer Way for Kids to Learn AI

At Dilly, we believe kids should learn about AI, not chat directly with it. That's why our app uses carefully designed, age-appropriate lessons instead of open-ended AI chatbots. Every activity teaches children how AI works, when to use it, and how to think critically about its responses, all in a safe, structured environment.

There is no AI in Dilly. Everything your child sees was written in advance, and nothing your child types is sent to an AI service.
